Price Guarantee - Terms of Use
1. Essence and scope of the price guarantee
1.1. Essence: The Operator (Publio Kiadó Kft.) provides a price guarantee to the buyer, according to which, if the buyer finds the same product (book, e-book, etc.) at a lower price elsewhere within a specified period (24 hours) after the purchase, the price difference will be refunded. 1.2. Products covered: The price guarantee applies to books available in the online store. 1.3. Exclusions: The price guarantee does not generally apply to: * Antique, used, damaged, or display items. * Foreign (non-Hungarian) online stores. * Advertisements by private individuals. * Prices of bids, auctions, and coupon offers. * Prices of products that are subject to special (e.g., corporate, group) discounts, loyalty programs, or unique conditions.
2. Conditions for comparison
2.1. Identical product: In order to determine the price difference, the book/product must be identical in all respects: * Identical ISBN number, edition, type (e.g., printed or e-book, hardcover/paperback). * The product must be available (in stock) and immediately purchasable in the comparison web store at the time of notification. 2.2. Final price: The comparison is based on the final price displayed in the shopping cart of the other web store, including shipping costs, if these are added to the price of the product. 2.3. Discounted books and price fixing: When claiming the price guarantee, the Hungarian laws on price fixing for books must be observed, which may limit the maximum discount that can be given on newly published books (e.g., in the first 365 days). The Bookstore cannot refund any difference that exceeds the discount permitted by law.
3. Enforcing the price guarantee
3.1. Time limit: The customer must report the lower price within [24 hours] of making the purchase at the Bookstore. 3.2. Method of notification: The customer shall send the request by email (konyvaruhaz@publio.hu) to the Bookstore's Customer Service. 3.3. Required information: The following must be attached to the request: * A copy of the invoice/order number confirming the purchase made at the Bookstore. * A link to the other online store where the product is available at a lower price, and a screenshot showing the date of purchase and the final price of the product as it appears in the shopping cart.
4. Method of refund
4.1. Bank transfer: If the claim is successful, the Bookstore will refund the price difference to the customer's bank account within [a maximum of 14 days] of the claim being assessed.
5. Other conditions
5.1. Right to change: The Operator reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Price Guarantee at any time without prior notice, but the terms and conditions valid at the time of purchase shall apply to purchases already made. 5.2. Abuse: In case of suspected abuse (e.g., providing false information), the Operator may refuse to issue a refund.
